You can never have too many Ducatis...

Since moving back from WA I keep in touch with Patto who owns a very small Ducati Dealership, Ducati Bunbury. He and his son are just as made keen on bikes/cars (and Dukes, obviously) as the rest of us, love drag racing, and have already created the world's fastest 2-valve Ducati. Not content with that they also play around with a 916 converted to 996cc and given a snort of nitrous. They are in the process of selling that as they are now campaigning a 1098. The 1098 straight out of the box is as quick as the 916/996+NOS. The thing looks wicked dumped in the weeds so I thought I'd pass on a few pic's.
They are still building up their twin turbo 999/749 drag bike and it is slowly taking shape. They've decided that a bored out 749 (810) is the way to go with nitrous off the line until the thing is making decent boost. Pic's below.
To give you an idea what Patto is like, he once sent me a vid as he took great delight in smoking out the garage with a burnout in a big-block HQ ute....not your average stuck up european bike dealer! They are great guys to deal with if you are ever over that way chasing the bulk work/dollars on offer at the moment.
