If you are one of the ones that is pissed off by the law change then I have absolutely no sympathy for you, and you are better off not being on the road!

    Speed Kills, End of story!
Anyone else notice that those saying speeding is delibrate and unneccessary are riding 250s or BMWs?

The *only* thing that concerns me about the zx9r (cause it is a fantastic bike in every way) is how easy it is to creep up to 20-30 over the limit. Last ticket I got was for 122 on mountain road in taranaki. It was clear, striaght pieve of road and the conditions were mint and we were just enjoying the scenery and a cop showed up. Got pulled over a couple of weeks after that (but let off) leading a group of 15+ bikes just out of piahatua doing 116 on a striaght clear piece of road. It is irritating when cops dont use a bit of common sense and discretion.

Its not speed that kills, it's the lack of skill.
Here in lies the problem. On one hand you have those who believe it is perfectly safe to do 150-180km/hr on the public road. They get away with it for so long and then crash and die and someone comes up with a slogan that speed kills. Then it gets applied to all those exceeding 100km.hr, no matter how little by.

no point. Now Mrs Meanie has that bit of paper you wont be able to get her off your bike for you to have a chance of speeding on it.

At the risk of pissing normal people off, what the real joke is the bike you're riding.
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.
