    05 gsxr600/750

There is a limited edition 600/750 coming out next year to celebrate 20 years of the gsxr series

    http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/2005..._suz_gsxr_ltd/

i know for a fact some of these are coming to nz they will be a couple of grand more expensive then standard models. from what i have heard they also had a bit more work down on engine to put out a bit more power than standard.

    enjoy

As it was on the '85 Gixxer when it came out. Unless you can find one in showroom condition, I think most of them look pretty faded and dull. The red & black colour scheme seems to last the elements better.
I didn't say it looked manky now, although I agree with Blakamin, coloured seats are pretty yuck...

Drunken Monkey - most bikes 20 years old how they been treated i have seen some 3 year old bikes paint worse than bikes which are 15 years old, someone looks after them paint be fine after that time, but i must say i didn't like the blue on orginal ones either

I do not like the black front wheel guard. I would like it to have been blue. I love the look of the front brake rotors. I had an 85 for a few years and every time I see one or read about them I regret selling. Attached is a picture of my 85 after the rebuild but before the paint was done. The strap on the seat was the original colour. No I didn't like it so put a darker cover on it. This bike had done 108,000 km when I sold it. I had to fit an 86 swing arm to it as the 85 was damaged in one of it's many crashes. It had had 13 plus owners and bent rims broken frame etc etc when I got it then I sold it at this point. Dum ass really. Should hunt it down and get it back.
