    How to unblock a drain?

Hookay, so I've taken off every unscrewable pipe and cleaned them but my sink/waste disposal is still blocked.. finding a plumber on new years eve will most likely be a bitch so I come to you, KB!

Is there anything I can pour down that could help whatever is blocking crap move on through? I'm working with one arm here so kind of limited in options.

    Cheers in advance.

    Yours truly, sore, tired zeo

Have you got access to a rubber plunger?? Failing that try to slide the garden hose thru the pipe from either end?

Drain cleaner from Mitre 10. Be careful it's vicious stuff.

Sodium Hydroxide pearl, you can get some at a hardware shop, it might be available there, yes its viscious and seriously Alkaline, and it will burn you especially if contact with skin and water , so once its wet take extra care. also take care of you eyes if you use to much it can spit.
every other product dont work as effectively.

Yeah?! Lmao Not surprised, it's nasty caustic (correct technical term?) shit. Got some of the powder on my hand, acrid-smelling bubbles coming up out of the sink, Jaysus H. Christ did that hurt.

Never really had a problem with blocked drains myself, but then again I don't go around trying to insinkerate whole turkeys.

With a fat blockage (e.g. you poured down the drain what was left over in the frying pan after cooking some cheap bacon), boil some water and pour it down there. Often enough to melt the fat and then it all goes *gurgle* *gurgle*
