Just try and enjoy the next couple of years - you can take up lots of new hobbies. Like stamp collecting, crochet, lawn bowls, or drinking ....

If you're a quitter, go to rehab

I'd like to think I've got many happy and safe riding years in front of me. The last organisation that will rob me of that is the NZ police. I didn't have a license for the last summer, so what? Just keep your head/speed down.

The loss is all in your head, it's not the reality. The fines are only money...you'll get your license back, start over. Fuck em.

If I fail the driving/riding test as an oldie I'll do it anyway; what will they do? Lock up an old fart? I'm looking forward to hiding behind my Zimmer frame.

I do drinkin !! Works for me while the cops own my licence
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

The NZ police didn't win. Just means you got caught.

They only win when you start thinking like Katman... (nudge, dig, poke...)

+1! But I would venture to add, that you lost...self control, at the very least!
Its your wrist, and only you are in control of the throttle.

Off topic - if that's a 1992 Honda VFR400 NC30 I see there then I rode one back when it was still a pretty new bike. It remains one of the three best handling bikes I've ever ridden in my humble opinion. Well done!

You can just as easily get those last 10 points in a cage... 70 km/h in a 50 km/h zone and you're walking... not difficult to do at all.

Hmmm dam Hornet 900's. They do like a bit of stick

You could trade it on one of those 750 Honda cruisers - nice bikes and much happier at legal speeds.

Plus you would get to buy new riding gear as below.....

Did you know that most of us don't actually look at which forum the thread is in? We just look for new posts that might be interesting.

Just a heads up that I am not in the SMC club but already read your thread (and posted in it too I think).

Thought I would save you some time in posting it again.....for future ref....
In space, no one can smell your fart.
