    idle screw on a cbr 400

    hey y'all. got me a cbr 400rr 1990 model, but the thing idles too high once its warmed up anyone got any idea where the idle screw is? i couldnt see it just by casualy lookin under the fairing, and i have a funy suspicion it mite require taking the tank and airbox off, which i am not looking forward to

    Should be a flexible black wire with a black knob, generally on the right hand side above the crank case..

    Blah CBR

    umm mine is on the left behind the fairing,just undo the two ditz fasteners and its just under the carbys
