    Pack rack for my Bandit

Despite all the reasoned debate why we should not have pack rack I have picked up a set of second hand "L" brackets for my 99 Bandit via Trade Me. Much cheaper than the $120 the dealers want. The only thing I didn't get was fitting instructions.

Does any one have any experience in fitting the "L" brackets to my model of Bandit. Are there any gotcha's or is a relatively simple process. If any one has a set of instructions I would be grateful.

I just looked up the fitment pix for the VFR800.

I think I might carry on using a backpack, even though I've had the Ventura system on my last coupla bikes....
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

i had them on all my bikes apart from the gixxer firstly due to them not having one, but now they do, but i don't do big distanceing carrying stuff other wise i would, most of time i am wearing a bag but usual carrying my lunch for day at work which is it (c:<

come in bloody handy, wife's vtr has one but she has the grab rail on it 99% of the time, so its not ugly sorta looking, and grab rail is good for passager to grab but not like that is to much problem on the vfr since it already has grab handles, not i am not talking about your love handles firestormer

Thanks for the link. At least you can see how they're supposed to fit. Did you have to remove any panels or anything else.
