Go to User CP (next to home) and half way down the options on the left is Private Messages. Alternatively click on the recipients user name in a post and a number of options come up. Select Send a private message to...
Theres bound to be other ways which no doubt somebody will expand upon. I'm not overly familiar with all this interwebby stuff

But still none forcast for up here.
My rooftop weather station tells me we've just had 6mm in the last 4 hrs here in Timvegas, so due to the current 30 kph southerly, the front will be moving north quickly, so it may still be open for allcomers on the 6th

Hey Shreky I do plan to be there at this stage, not sure what time I'll get away from town on Tuesday but am sure I'll catch you lot at the Hanmer house sometime that night.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to get away from Timvegas too early so depending on what time you're thinking of Carl, maybe I could ride up with you ?

Weather station now shows 14mm of rain here since 4pm so it will hopefully be moving up, damp down the dust a bit :-)

    Cheers, Stu

I imagine I'll leave ChCh about 9 or 10pm by the time i finish work and get cleaned up and on me bike.
I might pack a Can of Gas on back to use at Hanmer as a top up so I'll be sorted and not need the Hanmer Gas station in the morning... CHCH Gas probably cheaper anyway.
A frozen Subway will do me for brunch on the day.
I'll bring my own bedroll and sleeping bag to be sure to be sure.

No unfortunately not,got family commitments & can't make the Le Bons, Okains and Little Akaloa Bays' Ride on Sunday either as we gotta find some place to live. But I am doing the Passes ride so the Transalp won't feel too neglected

Any guesses as to what time the service station shuts up there? Dont like the idea of having to carry fuel on the back of the bike going up there.
