    Oooh sounds choice fullahs...
    Will salivate over your reports.
Am just coming to terms with handling multitudinous, occasionally mutinous 14 year old boys (in the behaviour management sense of 'handling' of course), after a month spent sailing Lake Hawea and Te Anau and motorcyling round the lake, Haast Pass, Jackson river, Waikaia River...
Must...conserve...energy...for a wee bit, till I get back in the swing at least.
Till then, keep me posted and I'll live vicariously through your adventures

Home safe guys. Damn that sproket was looking sick by the time we got here, chain was a little sloppy too.
Skid mark looks really impressive on the big screen
Great trip, great company, look forward to doing it all again

I'm home too, after Fish & Chips at Culverden about 9pm.
We started the ride this morning at 8am and I'm sure we were told somewhere here it would be about 8 hours Hanmer to Hanmer... guess that means that our about 12 hour trip was a big day. Then we still had to get home.

Here's my pic of the long black mark. I highlighted it with some red dots but basiclly it starts with a rear wheel lockup at the guys down the road and finished where the bike is.

You want more detail... ha, well you just have to wait untill I wake up sometime tomorow or until someone else posts.
Needless to say it could have been messy.

Well done TA, good pic, and quick too. Big day, nice ride, plenty scenery, no major mishaps, just small ones, at least everybody back in Hanmer in 1 piece. And for jatz too, glad she made it back to Mot ok!

Yes, not sure if it was dew or frost but I can tell you we froze our asses off for the first hour or so.

    1-low clouds/mist in the valley
2-spot the dust trails from the bikes ahead.
    3-just another view
4-see what's wrong with this picture/bike... the cause of the big black skid mark reported earlier.

There are corrugations on most the climbs and descents, make sure you take your false teeth out first!
