Taking work personally
A new survey shows that while many Australian workers claim to be using social networking sites for work, they're not always sending out the right message.
The survey, conducted by Linkme.com.au, found almost half of those registered with a social networking site logged on at work, despite 20 per cent of employers objecting to the practice.
Of those, one in five admitted to using the site up to two hours per week, costing companies $2,700 per person per year on average in lost productivity.
