Lost productivity? Really? Are we certain those people weren't going to be spending the time staring out the window? Or at Trina in reception's arse? Or worst of all bugging the shit out of other employees?

Did anyone account for the people that'll leave the company if they can't get their fix? Perhaps there's a positive correlation between using a social networking site and overall productivity? Maybe people with an active support network are less likely to get sick and take time off work.

But, no, someone gets hrs*time and spits a number out so some pointy haired twat can regurgitate it in a meeting and feel he/she/it is worth their $150k. Marvellous. Shall we ban coffee too?

When I was at ITMeedia in Kitchener St the Lawyers upstairs used to stop the elevator on our floor just to see how see-thru the receptionist's blouse was.

It was usually worth the stop.

Ahhhh, Publishing houses, I miss em sometimes.

I hope it costs enough to shut the place down or at least get NSW to take over the running of NZ like it should be.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I did some calculations on stockpiling enough Napalm to do that, and it can't be done. However I can do the main centres with 32 CBU-72's and a DC6.

Nukes. We need nukes. Can't get them from our allies, cos we don't have any, so we should make our own.

    Good point.

I can probably drop my estimate of 22 CBUs for Auckland to 16.

Hours does not always equal productivity

In the 2WW the poms were running out of ammo, so they changed their working hours in the ammo factories to be 7 days a week, 10 hours a day. And you know what, the productivity dropped...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

I'm with Dave (Ranty, not Big) on this. Sure I look at KB at work sometimes, but the work still gets done 'online, ontime'
