    TrailTech.... Vapour unit

I ordered the Vapour unit and light shroud from the states.. ordered it on the 27th dec ..arrived today!!! excellent service at any time of the year let alone over new years., I did'nt even bother to track the parcel thinking I would be lucky if they posted it early next week.

I will be replacing the dated speedo unit on the ktm, I will complete a review as I go.

First impressions are of a robust feeling unit good size....

the box comes complete with everything one needs to ensure a complete installation, even down to cable ties.

the mounting bracket has nice rubber inserts to compensate for a bit of that thumper vibration

time to read the manual and get the install underway

    Nice.
The Vapor would have been my choice if I didn't get the Acewell.

I bought one recently from Xtreme Wholesale.
Now for a 21yr old bike like my XT600,it was a bit hit and miss as to what kit to get.Got sent one for an SV650,but the speed sensor wire was way too short.Got it sorted with an XR500/600 wire and I could use the unit properly.
Must say,I'm quite impressed.Speed reading is nice and big,rev counter is a bit hard to read, but the shift lights certainly help.
Also quite like the total riding time feature, which is not resetable.
I'll leave the rest of the review to blackballs.
