    Are bikes just too dangerous?
Definitely. They are a lot less stable in corners. Nothing scarier than coming out of a corner with your arse sliding around.

But that ain't gonna make me stop riding.

In the dark, full speed on a holiday beach.........AND he had been "asked to slow down before"......

He was an idiot allright....my deepest sympathy goes out to the families involved.( I am a parent myself, and can only begin to try to imagine the hurt)

But the potential damage you can do with a 150-300 kg bike is a lot less then the damage a 1500-2500 kg car can cause. Bike riders come usualy out second best in accidents.....This guy was an idiot ..with or without bike.
And he is not the only one....Not enough discipline anywhere, not even allowed to spank your own kids anymore...

Going on the track as"the stranger" mentions is an excellent idea...you need to get your adrenalin rushes omewhere, but not in public!!
Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

Nah, it was a pathetic attempt. Doesn't even get 'Wind up of the Day' award.

I reckon JRandom's effort with the Wheelie and t-Shirt thread at Wanganui tops this sad attempt by a fair margin, especially given teh huge number of outraged serious posts before people started to twig. Even then the jig still wasn't up.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

ban roads...then there'd be no where to crash bikes or cars...better ban beaches, forrests and race tracks while we're at it too!

Bikes* don't kill bikers, accidents kill bikers. Well the accident could be anything between Cars and Idiot Behaviour

*Bike; A machine with two wheels.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Consider this - you can do a lot of damage with a loaded penis - are you recommending that they all be removed as well?
