    Ah... well there's the problem.
You don't go around coners - you run the fuckers over.

my neighbous just bought a 2008 harley( 1530cc ?) on hi learners, rides around like a fuckwit, no helmet, no gloves, singlet, gumboots, theres atleast 4 new harleys near me , must be the new toy for farmers and there extra payout

    gidday,

It's the rider of the bike that is dangerous, not the bike itself, its the decisions a rider makes, that makes the bike behave the way it does. it is on very rare occasions that machinery is at fault, and even then its ususally caused, by maintainance issues.

I feel terribly sorry for the family and the lassie that was killed, but it was a dickhead decision that caused the accident, the bike didn't go roaring through the beach on its own.

selling a bike, because it suddenly seems dangerous, wont make dickhead decisions stop, maturity, and responsibility, learning to ride properly will.

Motorcycles are fun, and give a wonderful sense of freedom, but the rider of one has to realise, that that freedom can come with a ton of hurt very quickly indeed, if a wrong decision is made.

    cheers,

    wingnutt

Did I miss something? I don't understand the point of a thread convincing bikers to give up their bikes because they endanger 13 year olds? Last time I checked we were not the biggest threat to anyone but ourselves.

Hmm... I'm pretty sure I missed something here.

Its just not fair on everyone else.

    Another reminder that speed kills.
What a load of Cow Crap, no matter how you ride or drive sh!t happens, if you can't live with dig a hole , get in it cover yourself up. from the time you are born you start to die, some people live for cars some for pushbikes and some for motorcycles, all are dangerous if you don't know what your doing, or you meet some one who is driving or riding who does not know what there doing,

If you lost your nerve then walk away, as yes you will end up splattered.

True accident can happen to anyone, stupidity can be avoided unless you are a retard and there fore should not be on a bike in the first place.

this mamby pamby attitude of I don't want to do it any more so I will make every one else not do it, is just another step to toward a boring state controlled life, your statement makes me think you work for the police as this is the drivel I would expect from them,

You aren't one of them that likes doing U turn in front of others without signals are you?
