    Alignment K7 GSX-R750

Is there anybody in the Wellington region who can help me sort out alignment/handling issues with my K7 GSX-R750?

It's not practical for me to take it to the shop I bought it from.

PM me for more details if you can assist.

    TIA

I suggest you PM Paul in NZ or Jim2
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Set the suspension settings back to standard and then start from there. They're in the manual somewhere. Let me know if you can't find them and I'll track them down tonight.
    Nearly there.....

Rear axle was further forward on left hand side, this has been adjusted but tracking still feels wrong.

measure from the swing arm pivot..back wards to the axle...and adjust it even from there..that will give you a straight wheel. or get someone to do it for you off here...I'm sure there would be some lads that would put there hands up??

Perhaps it's now right, but your 'feel' hasn't caught up yet? The marks are not always right anyway. CP has a good suggestion. Confirm using a really long straight edge...place it 100-150mm off the ground up the back tyre so it touches the edge of the tyre back and front and with your handlebars in straight-ahead mode, check that the gap B+F on front tyre corresponds.

I wondered that but a further 1700+ k's since axle adjustment and it still feels wrong. I'll try your suggestions. Thanks.

Let someone else ride it to get a second opinion.

    Hint hint.
