    Just a thought- the Italians, famous for their engineering of reverse gears (probably why they got so good at bevels), weren't Axis by the end of WWII. Still, at least it's now narrowed down to what we came to know as West Germany. Made of melted down Spitfires and P51's I suppose. Looks rather good for the output of a bomb-ravaged industry.
