-pity though the replacement lever is black not standard chrome.
The slow roll down the ex's driveway--Like 100 times before -the bump at the end then onto the road--all good --then the bike stalls.
I reach for the ground--no sweat no hassles--But the road as mysteriously dissabpeared and reappeard 200mm lower than I expected.
Stranded with both legs at full stretch I slowly topple over -with the inevitable---OHH CRAP - as the bike falls the opposite way to my expectations.
Once my foot had touched it was clear--yep she's gonna hit -all i could do was slow her fall to the ground. ahh well I never needed that bloody fairing anyhoo
hmm Frosty crashes his bike --estimated speed-0.05km/h --sheesh

I'm glad you didn't catch ya leg or ankle under it. Now that would be painfull.A few years ago when the RNZAF had an Air Combat Wing I dropped the Intragra at home after a hard hot summers day out at Ohakea during a air weapons camp (when they had such things). Was so tired when I got home dropped the thing and pinned myself solid. Our black lab was very sympathetic and tried licking me to death. My meek cry for help was not heard and it took while to gather enough energy to lift it enough to pull the leg free. All the missis said was "what took you so long "

I remember that night very well, you begged her to get on your bike , i mean begged and begged. does that mean there was 2 times you crashed with a girl on the back speeding round mission bay?? i can even remember what you said b4 you left darby st, " i just need to burn off some gas before i race some one, do you want to go for a ride? " she's a silly girl , should never get on a bike with an amateur.

Yeah - well neither have I - and no I don't have any left over from an earlier era (and yes I DID look!!) - so I decided to take my m/bike boots to the local shoe repairer and ask them to raise them for me. I get 'em back Friday... I wait with baited breath to see (and test) the end result.....

Dude you have a bad memory or your out to shit stir.
I remember that night like it was yesterday. The girl in question wanted a ride on my ninja. I had brand new tyres to scrub in and a full tank of gas. it was 11.05pm and I wasn't pushing the bike.
I'd been round that corner a hundred times before and the grind marks from the crankcases came from the tip in point -The bike tipped in easy but wouldn't come back up
Fuck ya know there aint many things i regret in life but one of em was letting her convince me to take her with me.
