Any mechanical people in Wellington willing to help me out?

Hay people i am looking at a ute that is in wellington and i need mate to check it out for me. I need to know general condition of mechanical and bodywork, how hard the canopy will be to remove, the dimensions of the tray (as to weather a bike will fit on it) and if there are any tie down points that would work for transporting bikes. Thanks.

PS it is a 89 mitsi l200 dubble cab on LPG. Thanks

If it's a double cab, the tray will be darned small.

What bike are ya trying to fit?

Even with the tail gate down you'll be lucky

    Just my $0.02

    I had a 1990 4x4 L200 d/cab on lpg.
My Dr650 would fit in the back with the tailgate down, (prick to get up there being 4wd)
there should be hooks on the outsides of the tray which you can use for your tiedowns.

If its a 2.6 on lpg don't expect it to be that ecomical cause they aren't.
Thats why i bought my one, thinking cheap to run..not really....
With the price of LPG (about $1.20-$1.30 a litre)its not really worth it now.
If i was to buy another i would go diesel.

Forgot to add, there should be only 4 bolts holding the canopy down.
It's really a two person job to lift off, you can do it yourself but its mother f'n
    difficult.......I know.
Is it the canopy which rests on the cab? if so they wear the paint out.
