    Restricted Test at Westgate

Did my restricted test today....was easy as!!

They used a radio/earpiece, so all my initial worries about having to see them indicate behind me and turn when appropriate were all for nothing.

The whole test was just a short run up the road and back...and I think the only things they cared about was to make sure I indicated correctly.

And that's pretty much all I was doing...watching my speed to make sure I wasn't going too fast, and reminding my self to indicate ALWAYS...including leaving the curb, exiting roundabouts etc...

It was a bit wet, and I didn't know the area at all, so I was going pretty slow most of the time anyway...and I still had my rear wheel slide on a corner (really dodgy road surface)

It was really simple...I should have done this ages ago!

Ear piece radio? I did not have that! lol (Quay Street AA Center). Instead the instructor indicated in his car. My mission was to look through the side mirrors carefully and LOTS to see where I should go lol

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

I did my restricted it West Gate. Test was piss easy.. got the ear piece aswell and he'd just tell me left, right or to pull over and all I had to do was nod and follow his instructions.

Only thing he got me on was when he told me to park on a hill and I didn't push the back of the bike towards the curb? But I left it in gear anyway so it wasn't going anywhere..

I'm honestly worried about people who manage to fail their restricted.

And I just noticed, I live like 10 minutes from Avondale, just in Titirangi, we should go for a ride some time.

    Congratulations

Did my tests there and they are really good there.

...even past me when I got lost - while getting directions through the earpiece!!
