Thumbs up My SV has landed

    Hi guys & girls,

My SV finally arrived yesterday, at lunch time, while i was at work, so i patiently waited until 5pm then raced home to see the new arrival!!!

Big thanks to Bull who came over, met me Featherston and guided me on my first (big bike) ride, im new to the Wairarapa so it was great to have someone who knew where he was going show me around, went from Feathers to Martinborough, then through the back roads back to my place in Masterton, was a great first up squirt, I saw what i can only assume was the Wednesday night crew parked up at the tin hut, maybe i can join you guys in the near future.

Took a few photos of the bike once i got back, posted below, covered in thousands on bugs, which you probably cant see but however....

Had another good ride today, apart from the 40km to work and back (in 32 fucken degrees too, very warm) - I just got back from a Masterton - Eketahuna return ride which was fun, lost 90% vision about 2km from Eketahuna when something went "splat" into the visor, made it interesting.

So yea, thats me so far, so much fun already, worth the wait for the bike, loving every minute, if anyone is in/around Masterton and keen for a ride give me a yell!!!

    Cheers

Snap....... A very good choice....even if I do say so myself

Very nice. The SV always looks meaner in black.

You're right about the weather. I appreciate having a summer for a change, but it's sure sticky when you get you're kitted up to go for a ride.

I've had my SV for 3 years now and I really can't think of anything I'd replace it with.

Congratulations on the new bike. I've had my SV for 5 months now and I absolutely love it.

If you're going to get rid of the spade at the back then I can recommend the Hamicad fender eliminator. Straight forward to fit it and it looks great on the bike. I ended up changing the indicators as well but that's only due to them fouling on the pack rack.
