    Power of the internet

The power of the net never ceases to amaze me. When I joined the forum a few weeks ago I made a brief blurb about myself.

One reference I made was knowing Austin Hockley, who back in the 70's was British 125 & 250 champion.

Well cut a long story short I lost touch with Austin when I moved to NZ in 78.
One of his mates in the UK saw the post on here, and then emailed me last week with some pics of Austin back in those days racing.

Today after about 34 years I got an email from Austin. So thanks guys for the opportunity to such a great forum, and you just never know whos taking a look.

Any one else got any other stories.

It was a dark and stormy night. A shot rang out. A maiden screamed. Meanwhile, in a country far far away, a King lived in luxury while his subjects starved.

I asked for advice here, on the best place to buy a bike in Australia. And then a KB'er, Jantar, gave me a free one!

Yep, I was seeing, on the sly I might add, a nice little young blond. Only I was in Akl and she was in Palmy Nth so we used to communicate via the web during the week. Well I typed a nice little email saying that when I come down this weekend it'll be time to "spread your cheeks and pass the butter" and promptly sent it to her dad. It didn't go down well.

I was travelling round the US when an FB sent an email to my work email saying about him coming round to the ofiice to give me one over the desk; one of my straight collegues opened it and forwarded it my bosses. They just asked when is she back from the US, better be soon. Thank God the were dirty buggers.

Are you capable of spouting anything other than complete shite, by any chance? I'd say you and little Skiddy share one thing in common - the ability to open wide, insert both feet and swallow.
