Blah aww crap I fell off

I fell off the beast-GSX1100G last night -
-pity though the replacement lever is black not standard chrome.
The slow roll down the ex's driveway--Like 100 times before -the bump at the end then onto the road--all good --then the bike stalls.
I reach for the ground--no sweat no hassles--But the road as mysteriously dissabpeared and reappeard 200mm lower than I expected.
Stranded with both legs at full stretch I slowly topple over -with the inevitable---OHH CRAP - as the bike falls the opposite way to my expectations.
Once my foot had touched it was clear--yep she's gonna hit -all i could do was slow her fall to the ground. ahh well I never needed that bloody fairing anyhoo
hmm Frosty crashes his bike --estimated speed-0.05km/h --sheesh

Bugger. Still 0.05 is a lot better than 50.0. Sorry to hear. The frame sliders would have helped. Hence they are on my Gixxer. Probably just brake off at any speed but a few bikes get dropped this way. CU Sunday in Taupo

Man that's got to suck, I think in some ways it feels worse than coming off at higher speeds cause at least then you have good excuse. But I know what it feels like, I did it to my bike the first day I owned it

hmmmm i did a similar thing on Sunday ...parked on a hilly street in town. Went to jump on bike - stand started to move and bike kinda just fell over.

All happened in slow motion really. Worst thing was as it facing down the hill I couldnt lift it up by my self

Yeah,it's a common problem on adventure bikes...tall seats and short legs.Gotta think ahead. But when they go down, they go down in a hurry.

Oh dear - got to be the slowest low side you've ever had, Frosty.

I did the same thing myself day before the warrant was due. Cost me $30 for a new indicator.

    Bad luck dude.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Ya know the worst thing about it--I was taking baby bikie home.
He just kinda stepped off as it hit the deck. His comment really was the icing on the cake.
Daddy -does your bike want to have a sleep now? cos its laying down like its sleeping
