Just got back from taupo.....
Thanks for posting up the postponement offrd, the forecast was crap and I thought it safest to cancel, of course sunday was fine!!! so after a period of whinging & tyre kicking I went for a ride to see what the track looked like.

I'll post a full ride report when I have a moment of two but suffice to say it wasn't too bad, I said hello to one bush, but generally the track was in good condition and I pottered through in 2 hours.

Definately on to do it another time now I have a better understanding of the conditions there.
