    Westpac Ride finish location

Does anybody think the finish location for the Westpac ride could be moved to a better location other than a large carpark. I know you have to cater for 1500 + bikes and riders, but something with cafe's n bars etc would be heaps more fun. Don't get me wrong, I fully support the ride and all the great work the organisers do to make this ride what it is. I went on it for the first time last year and I loved it and I'm going this year. Well, lets have it, what do you think.

Now where would you find a cafe' or a bar, that could cater to 1500 riders plus all the pillions..... that would arrive en mass?

At the carpark that is already organised, they have a few food stalls already set up for when the riders arrive...... which serves most of the riders should they want to have a hotdog, chips or a cold drink.

Riders are only at the carpark for about 30 - 40 minutes depending on how long it takes to call out all the prizes etc........ and then everyone disperses home or for a ride etc etc....

Maybe set up temporary ones like in the annual STURGIS rally in South Dakota.

if im doing a charity ride, the last thing i want at the end is a latte. id rather have a coke and some greasy chips and discuss the ride.

actually, screw that... thats what i want at the end of ANY ride.

besides, if we moved it to metrosexual hell, where would the chopper park?
