Damn, they must have hit each other at a good clip looking at the front of that 4WD...

Take care out there - the season isn't over yet it seems

It looks as if the wheel has been twisted towards the right while the handlebars have been held straight by the impact - thus bending and twisting the forks in that manner...

I'd guess that the front wheel was pinned down by the bumper of the 4wd while the rest of the bike tried to go over the bonnet.

Saw this in the standard tonight
Happened at the intersection of Roberts Line and Kelvin Grove road at the top of the hill . Saw a few accidents there years ago when Roberts Line used to run straight through down towards Napier road. Monie and I used to live just down the road

I dont recognise the bike, bloody sad

    Condolences to family and friends

Mrs Cowboyz missed the accident by minutes. She comes home that way and got 3/4 down roberts line and got turned round by the police and told to find another way through. I was about 15 mins behind that and the entire road was closed with an accident sign. Very very close to home this one.
Careful out there and will be interesting to hear some details about this one cause the impact looks very severe for a 70km area with a stop sign.
