Big cars lose favour as fuel prices soar
By JENNI MCMANUS - Sunday Star Times | Sunday, 13 January 2008

High petrol prices have begun to bite into big-car sales, with surges in registrations for motorbikes and a significant slowdown in the 1600cc-plus vehicle category.

    ...

Motorcycle registrations rose 18.9% last year to 11,540 the highest increase for 20 years. On a monthly basis, motorbike registrations were 50% higher in October 2007 compared with October 2006.
Wonder how many cars were registered in the same period?
    Redefining slow since 2006...

Well I can say I have contributed nicely to the increase. 12 months ago the closest I got to bike was the scooter I had 12yrs ago - now I am up to two bikes and we have five between myself and my partner.....

I bet 90% of them are scooters.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
