To be completely typical and predictable

At least your okay, bikes and be fixed, replaced or even upgraded. Plenty of guys on this site havent been able to report on there own accidents afterwards.

Start getting receipts etc for all the custom work.

Take photos and receipts etc to dealers who can appraise your bike of its true worth, as the scum sucking insurance companies will try to screw you on the value of your bike! But with a few quotes from dealers they take the average, so leave out the low ones

    That's very bad...

I'm glad that you aren't in hospital or worse. God I hate effing cagers who cant' drive for sh*t. I can't imagine the feeling of having to write my bike off.

What he said, bloody good advice there.
Also, I am glad you are not seriously hurt.

i know that a lot of good guys have not survived there encounters and i try not to take anything away from them but when you spend 50k plus on a bike im just a little bit pissed at cages.

I salute all the fallen bikers gone but never forgotten,

    Oh gutting!
I was hoping it wasn't you, your paint job is fuckin' mean!
We met you outside Trevor Pierce on that nasty, cold Sunday morning when none of our respective motorcycle groups turned up, my old man was on the red CB750 and I was in that nasty yellow car.

    Really dissapointed for you dude...

Good luck with sorting it all out mate. Shame that paint job and bike were damaged, but at least your all good if a little sore.
