wouldn't think charging people a $100 dollars viewing fee will do him many faviours
he must think its a bank making intrest or something, maybe he needs to keep it another 25 years,

Maybe you get a discount if you only look with one eye?...

That's ok, I dont suffer sellers who are wankers.

Mad man....couldn't help emailing him to ask if he was for real about that.

Maybe he doesn't really want to sell it...maybe his handbrake has demanded he get out of bikes? Seems a pretty half assed way of enticing the buyers in...

Well, I don't think either selling for a friend or the viewing fee is in line with TM policy - obviously TM would like a cut of that $100 if it was allowed.
I sympathise if the guy has let 20 people take test rides and just got spoddy ejits, but this is a stupid idea.
Now a test ride deposit - that puts off the wasters and its 'free' unless you drop it.

By the way, you all owe me $5 for having read this. My viewing fee dont' cha know?

I clicked on the link expecting it to be a pristine, concourse standard relic, that the whole motorcycling community would trip over themselves to get to.
Alas, its a poxy old RD. Not worth a pinch of shit.

He's probably wondering why he's getting lots of views and nobody coming to look at it. This is the second place I have seen this discussed.

You cannot ask questions on the auction page. That was going to be fun.

Nothing new. It's quite common for auction houses to only allow viewing of, or entry to, an auction if a catalogue has been purchased beforehand.
