Would have liked to join you lot and even play pack mule for the littlies. However, we have tickets for the Mission concert that weekend.

Yeah I know, but we bought them before they traded Tom Jones for John Mellenkamp and Jimmie Barnes for Elvis Costello. I reckon I've got grounds for a complaint to the Commerce Commission.

Hopefully a Triumphant weekend rather than a Zuki one.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

    Date of ride changed!

    Date change. Date change.!!!

Sorry bout this guys, but I double booked my weekend.

That is the weekend of the Triumph National Rally near Rotorua, and since I'm a member of the TOMCC Hamilton, its best I front up and help out.
I've missed so many of their meetings the last six mths that I will get my balls chopped off if I fail to attend.
Hope the new date of 29-30/ March is suitable to most.
    Humble apologies.

Little AA maps are free for members

They are, however, not waterproof and turn to mush in ones pocket...a bit hard to read after that!
Those little $3.95 maps are free if you're an AA member (or know someone who is ). They just need to swipe your membership card and you're good to go.

PS I'm lurking in your forum 'cause this stuff looks like fun

No worries on the new date here. As long as the troops make sure that there are adequate beer & red wine supplies for the chef I'm sure I can handle the BBQ operation

    Cheers

Might be able to make that weekend and help spread the load.
The suspension mods should be complete by then too so Crisis Mismanagement could get that thrash that he was looking for.

    Everyone is welcome.
I would suggest clicking on the calender thread/date and registering peoples attendance interest though.
People can always deregister, but it just helps to know who is interested at the time so others can organise ride outs together etc.
We can sort out rooms later on, (hell, Kanny will probably kick out into a tent anyhow)
Some of the Waikato Road bike guys may even come out on the seal and stay the night.

Bound to be some where to lay a sleeping bag out mate.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

Click on the 29th of March in the calender.
I'm waiting on a mod to change the date at the thread name.

    Talking Exciting development

We have found a supplier of 1.5L bottles of Sicilian red wine. Advanced postgraduate research has shown that these will fit into the bottle holders on the back of Clint's panniers.

Thats one of the more worthwhile bits of postgrad research I've heard of for a long time.
Once i get through this weekends Raggamuffin Reggae Fest, the sth island passes ride, and the Triumph National Rally, I will be ready for a well deserved "kick back n relax" session. (except I think I'm supposed to be barman, and breakfast cook), sheesh, no rest for the wicked
