The bike was facing the wrong way up against the barrier, it had a fly screen blade thing and a round headlight, was looking at the biker not the bike, it could have been anything.

I was mostly looking at the road though coz People were all over the place in cars, I think there were three lanes of traffic merging out, seeing the way was blocked and then moving back into the single open lane...

Frecking idiots, no indicators, not one of them looking were they were going, few skid marks down there now (from the cars, not in my pants, well... mostly).

    Sedge.

my mum was in teh ortho clinic lastnight, dealt with his injuries, not too bad, helmet fucked, broke both hands, a finger real bad needed surgery, lucky to be alive. apparently hes been riding for 40 years and its his first bin. he couldnt remember what happened but the cops told him that he changed lanes into a car in his blind spot and then the shit hit the fan

Hope he pulls through ok,hands take awhile to heal.Cars in the blind spot on motorways always worry me - even though you monitor what everyone is doing around you, some prick will slide across a lane an sit in the blind spot with out you knowing.I always take a look before changing lanes - but all this safety crap we wear now cuts down on our visability and flexabilty.
