Roger was the inspiration for getting my McIntosh chassis. An old mate Rob Henry had one rusting away in his back yard. It was built for Dale Warren but Rob ended up with it. The original Glenn Williams was the other inspiration, on the turbo Kawasakis that Peter Hill built. Luckily the frame was for a Z1 engine and I had a spare engine that came with my Yoshimura/Moriwaki Z1. Another mate got the turbo kit off a Z1R-tc. Put the lot together with the usual forged pistons, clutch bits etc and away you go.

Interestingly it isn't all that light, what with the Brembo cast iron discs and the lump of a Z1 engine. 200kilos total, 101 front, 99 rear.

How things change. Even I could go round Pukekohe faster on a stock 600 now.

Of course being a sensible sane motorbicyclist I would never condone such hoonish activities.

To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
