    Watch out for attacking stones!

Just got down to Tauranga (G'day Tauranga crew) this evening, and with the melty shitty tar, a stone must have flicked up and stuck to my thigh, because when I got here I noticed 3 or 4 deep scratches in my fuel tank, big bastards like 6 cm long. Must have got trapped and as I moved scratched the bike to buggery! Not really too sure how to avoid it happening again...but heads up anyway. Maybe I can send an invoice to transit for the repainting? (Get stone chips done at the same time)

Ahh well, good to be here. I love The Mount.

Chuck some 3M on your tank.

It cost me $350 to have the tank, rear cowl, and front end plus front of side fairings done, all by a stripes and graphics dude.

But it IS a REPSOL. Such a gorgeous thing LOL.

Yeah I managed to buff most of the scratches out so it looks better. Still some big arse deep ones though.

Brett I got my ST done by Marty's Truck painters at the end of McDonald Street at The Mount - they did a good job

I was riding behind crazy steve and was wheelieing over a bit of new seal and flicked some big stones at me. One smashed my right mirror right off at the stem. One gave me a massive bruise on my neck and one got me square in the visor which somehow didn't crack.

That's because visors are meant to be shatterproof, for that very reason. Hope the bruises heal fast.

It would have been, and you still would have had change after your travel expenses, paying the bill and shouting us out for dinner too! Probably
