Double Take! Triple Take! Very Tasty!

Was just cruising the net looking at noob bikes when I came accross the yzf-r125. Saw it a while ago on motorcycle news but as far as 125cc four strokes go, it's freaking tasty! Ass up head down twisties killer for the learners and I reckon it would be a nice commuter too. Supposedly gets past 71mph in restricted form with a lot of WOT and redlining lol. Not bad i must say and in derestricted form maybe a little bit more. Shame it would be like 7grand if it ever got here.

P.S Is that not the sexiest exhaust ever for a learner bike! Now why don't they go and just put a rs125 engine into it and then we would have a winner.

Yeah I know about the cbr but it just isn't as cool lol Im guessing it's a 125 because it's catered for the european market where they have bhp restrictions and a 250 would have been greater than the limit allowed for learners.

Were talking production engines right, if so then rs125 cos the rs250 is not in production anymore , if not then rs250 for the win. *in all honesty i completely forgot about the rs250 haha*

Ammm guys its a 125, unless you are all small guys I doubt it will give you much satisfaction. I'm a big guy and if I get on this would look stupid and feel stupid. On the other hand if you are a light chickie on this bike I recon it will be fantastic. Dont know who said it but I remembered it ...plastic makes everything look good. dunno ....my 2c

i reckon toto that with a skilled rider this yammyhaha 125 will keep up with your gtr250 through the twisties, motorb is a prime example of how a skilled rider can rape a 150 and get through twisties, leading the pack.

I wish we could all get around on 150 or even 50cc. the fact is that 150 cc is small for most people. Fully agree with you, skilled rider can keep up with me and not only that probably pass me by miles but only if he is half my weight. thats all I'm saying. not pretending to be some pro ar something...but i'll get there slowly
