Even if the Hyosung and the Ninja arent much more then a 1992 CBR250 id still have the CBR250 over both. Im currently saving for a CBR250 i cant say much for how the other bikes go but i have ridden a 250Bandit and a 250CBR and i like both, the CBR has alloy frame produces more Hp and is much lighter then both of those new bikes. They are cheap for a reason, the ninja i would have but a Hyosung i cant even pronounce that. Just my 2 cents

No, that wasn't me. I was there a while ago and wanted to take a green one they had right away. My wife vetoed it and said I should wait for a red one. Who am I to contradict the boss...

Went and crawled all over one at the local delaer on tuesday. Had an 07 gpx right next to it brand new also so compared.

    The dislikes:

    • header pipes half the diameter of the 07 gpx...

    • horrible footpegs.

    • front fairing joins up to tank so no room to add clip ons so no mods there

    • same forks.....

    • same brake caliper

    • swingarm is very similar jus very slightttt tweaks.

    • brake rotors are different simply because they have butterflyd it.

    • Very similar handle bars...just slight changes in looks but same rise and basic mount.

    Things i liked:

    • The tail light
    • The headlight (although in pictures the bike looks wide in person it looks narrow i think mainly due to how the front fairing runs up to the tank.
    • The gauge cluster, they have gone with quite a modern look like that of the zx10r etc with the speedo in the middle of the cluster with warning and function lights either side, quite big, but it fills the area nicely.

(I'm sure ive forgotton alot of the differences)

In summary on the likes it does have some nice features, but for me it's not enough new goodies yes all the peg hangers and so on are reshaped from the of the 07 gpx, but nothing that makes you go wow. they have just redesigned alot of things to look better but the sports commuter feel to the whole bike is there. Which is very apparent upon veiwing it is the new GPX yes alot of stuff has changed but almost all for cosmetics. Which i spose is what you want from a sports commuter.

The riding position is quite upright for alot of commuting and running round rather than low slung clipons. so more comfort yes, but i would rather have control over comfort.

    Give me a zxr anyday.

It's one of the few bikes you see that lets down severly in person from photos. To me a good bike is one you see in pictures and think it's nice then see it in person and it's even better. The 2008 ninja did not achieve this.

    skidMark.

Update: I rode Sam's ZXR250 today and it put a mile long smile on my face and made my GPX feel like a piece of shit little toy cruiser minichopper thing
I see the light but that doesn't retract from what I just said above though...

Hmmm... I wanna super screamer now

Come to the darkside...sams zxr was my first one.
