Lightbulb WYLIWYG - Where You Look Is Where You Go...

Interesting article that I came across today..

    http://www.homezones.org.uk/document...WYGbooklet.pdf

Quite an interesting read for the noobs I thought? and maybe even to some of you experienced riders..

Be interesting to get some feedback from the biker wisdom collective.. (Frosty, Skidmark?)

Target fixation. I've been guilty of that a couple of times.

Mmmmm, I struggled with that a bit when I first started riding - funnily enough only on "take-off" though. Nearly got real up-close-and-personal with the neighbour across the road's letter box the first time I rode Rosie out on the road. We were taught "don't look at the road/down 'cos that's where you'll go" on the handling skills course, but it's easily forgotten in the excitement of actually being out on the big road! Of course I don't have aaaaaaaaaaaaaany problems with it now Why is it that things you really need to avoid are just so hard to not stare at sometimes?
