I am going up to Gizzy on the 24th December for Xmas.
As others have said, stop often and drink plenty of water, it will probably be fairly warm from Palmy on - and remember its not a race

Will it matter tomorrow what time you get there today?

Yeap, I myself am up to Gisborne again on the 24th of December as well.

Tell you what, have been testing out my new gear, and it is fantastic, I just cannot keep my bloody pant legs down, they have a tendency of moving up, especially my gear changing leg.

Could very well see you on the way up?

same thing kept happening to my mate who rides a cruiser.
he got some elastic and stitched it onto the ends of his pants and hooked the loops under his boots.
he said it works awesome and you cant see it either because it pulls the pant leg over the elastic.

Well, if you do see me, you can't miss me. Bright blue bike, silver helmet, 747M8 for the plate and a horrible big yellow L on the back!

I am always after good hints to help keep myself and the bike well. I mean, I have doen the trip before on my KR250 2 smoker, and that was not a very pleasant trip.

Also. I have a habit of naming all the big items I own, however, I have not managed to come up with a name for my bike, your ideas would be great!

    Cheers

Just have fun, ride safe and enjoy. Im sure none of us here on KB would like to hear of how an ambulance had to come and collect you out of a ditch because you wanted to get there quicker.

Ride safe mate. Oh yea, a name??? How about Betty Boo??

Yeap, that is me, the Seaniep. Well, I still have that bike, but decided that it was time for a new one, so I got one last week. My Suzer.

Now I am sourcing an indicator for my KR250 2 smoker.
