So I've just trapped this great big weta in a tupperware container...

I mean, seriously, this bastard is huge.

He just wandered across the lounge floor as I was sitting here tapping away on my laptop. I simply can't waste an opportunity like this.

Yes, it's a him. Male tree weta, hemideina thoracica. The jaw shape is unmistakeable.

So come on, folks, help me out with a few poll responses here. What shall be his fate?

Of course I'll let it go.

Right after I creep everyone out with it in the morning.

I'm with him... I bet you're just making it up to sound cool... either that, or you saw it and screeched like a girl... (or maybe a high pitched motorbike )

Squashing it in your hand does make a nice crunching sound, and you can find out just how hard they are. Entertainment wise, much better to pester people with it first.

Welll.... You could become very quickly castrated by tormenting J with it... aaannnddd that would be absolutely hilarious... but painful...

I'd say ensure KYBoy gets a face full first thing... before slowly sauteing the sucker with a little piko piko and native beer juice!
