Useful modifications?

Just wondering what sort of modifications/ alterations /usefull additions various owners have made to their bikes, and how usefull they turned out to be....

My Flying horse (Pegaso) gave me a sore bum, so the local upholsterer improved it dramaticly for a mere $80....may still look at some sheepskin for the "nana factor"

Also added topbox, because off all the bike bits I seem to need to carry...only have 15 liter tank, so do carry 5ltr spare on back on trips, plus various tools etc.... (have got saddlebags for personal stuff)

I am going to get myself a LOUD airhorn and reflective fluro vest (for town) and a slightly higher handlebar...

Get a Nautilus Stebel 139db, well worth the dollars, someone here or tardme
Upgrade headlight - brighter is better, wire in a relay or go HID
Buy some decent gloves - Icon Timax, useful in so many ways
Upgrade suspension - see Dr. Robert Taylor or Shaun Harris (MotoDynamix)
Buy the most suitable rubber for your situation - don't skimp
Loose the fluro - average idiot won't see you anyway
Learn how to mono an stoppie well - practice, practice, practice

I put a slightly higher set of bars on the sherpa, and a set of Zeta handguards. I later got some LED indicators that attach to the plastics on the handguards. They are very cool, but not bright enough to use as the sole set of front indicators.

I attacked my seat with an electric breadknife, contact adhered a couple of layers of extra foam to it and covered it with vinyl from spotlight. It looks a tiny bit lumpy, but it's sooo comfortable.

Clint made a set of luggage racks that bolt onto where the pillion pegs and silly pillion handle things used to be. Powdercoated to match the frame, and it looks really good. And probably weighs less than the milled-from-solid-cast-iron pillion pegs.

I've put a piece of webbing across the frame under the seat, with plastic buckles/clips peeking out under the seat to clip the front of my saddlebags to. Means the saddlebags stay put, without me having to sit on one of the straps.

Plans for the future include:
Braided front brake line
Small-ish carrier behind the seat
New rear indicators, perhaps integrated into carrier

+50 light bulb (supposedly 50% more light for same wattage)

Tyres and fuel range are the most worthwhile things I recon followed by suspension when you have some experience of the bike and the $.

I got a piece of 25 mm foam put under the cover of my bandit
cost $30
and the original cover put back on
I did this bacause ,even though the seat if comfy enough you get flat arse
still do but not as bad
anyways i also found when you get on the bike its hard to find the sweet spot to sit , now you just get on and its sweet
