    Spark plug leads

Got back from holiday recently, enthusiastically got on the bike for a ride.. but no, running rough and making weird clicking noises.. feck

Anyways, after poking around a bit I see mighty big arcs flying across #3 plug lead. Needless to say I think the leads are fecked.

So, the question - where to buy a new set of leads for 97 hornet 250?

I gave cyclespot a call and nearly threw up at the price - $50/lead + GST + boots. They also don't have anything in stock, gotta get in from jappoland blah blah... These leads must be fairly common, the engine is an MC14E-144xxxx like CBR250 etc.

Ok ok, enough rambling.. where is the fav place to buy such paraphernalia??

You issue may just be buggered plug caps. Was it a wet day or had you just washed the bike?

Try pulling the leads off and make sure the plug caps are securely screwed to the leads.

If all else fails, I'd suggest your local motorbike wrecker.
