    Race number backgrounds

Where do you people get your race number backgrounds? I figured self-adhesive contact film would be the go, but I'm having trouble finding it in the colour I want (mid-blue for cross country). The only places that stock it around here are Warehouse Stationery and Mitre 10 Mega, but their colour choice is very limited.
    Cheers,
    Colin

My choice is what I choose to do,
And if I'm causing no harm, it shouldn't bother you.

I tried contact but it wouldn't go around complex curves and apparently leaves an awful mess when you try to remove it. Ended up using wide strips of Duct tape which have the bonus of protecting the plastics when scraping along the road.
I am pretty sure you can get various coloured tape - it may be called Gaffer tape as the film industry like to colour code stuff. Insulation tape for the numbers so they can peel off easy if you need to change the number.

Ta, went to my nearest signwriters, they were very helpful. Good range of colours, $20 for a sheet about 600x700mm. Quickly mocked up (on the computer) the sizes & shapes I wanted to test the layout on the sheet for minimum length. A few tips on applying it etc etc.

    Cheers,
    Colin
