For goodness sake Honda, bring out a new Blackbird, quickly....
They couldn't possibly make it uglier than either of these, could they?

so why then do I know, I will see you in far off places?

The Blackbird has certainly gone out of productionalthough it was getting a bit long in the tooth..... The UK mag MCN have hinted at the possibility (can't find the issue where I saw it) of a new 'bird, but I'm not holding my breath.

The Blackbird is no longer sold in some markets (the USA for one) but new ones are still available in NZ and Oz although these may be from parts already in stock. At around $16500-$17000 for cash, a new 'bird represents great value for money, especially as the motors won't need any significant work for 200,000 + km. I've had mine for 6 years which speaks for itself. However, there are lots of good pure tourers or sports tourers on the market and in the final analysis, it will be the one which appeals most at an emotional level which will press the right buttons!
