Whats happened to these great trail rides?

The last few years I've traveled north at about Waitangi weekend and the weekend after for a couple of trail rides which have been real blasts, one at Tutomohe (or something like that, just north of Kai iwi lakes) and another at Whangarei Heads. I've been looking forward to doing these again but can find no mention of these rides any where and its looking like they may not be on. Anyone no anything about these rides and why they are not happening? Or if they are please post the details. Both of them are worth a weekend away up north, a day at the beach and a day riding.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

Tutamoe is supposed to be Waitangi Weekend, it's not combined with a national enduro though this year, I'll be seeing some of the guys helping organise it today, so I'll rattle their cage about updating the web site.

There is this one the following weekend, but like you I can't find any info on Whangarei Heads or the Okaihau Big Rock.
