    Seat cover material needed

I recovered my seat a little while ago myself with some gripper material I brought from North Shore Canvas. Anyway a mate wants to do his seat, but North Shore Canvas said that the don't do the material anymore. So if anyone knows where else to try in Auckland, that would be great.

    Thanks

There's a guy in Kinross St Blockhouse Bay who does seat covering. He has a huge range of material to choose from and I reckon at good rates. Cost me $50 to recover a KLR seat and a really good job too.

I'm not sure what number Kinross St, but he has a sandwhich board out roadside, private house.

W Wiggins Ltd Importers buy it by the meter about 16 bucks.

They had red, blue and black when I got it over a year ago. I bought a couple of meters of Red and Black for future use. A meter will do 2 seats or more so its exceptional value. You will need a good staple gun as well. Its a bitch of a job to get it smooth, no creases, but not that hard.
I don't think they really like selling to retail so act like you know what your doing, Buy, by the full meter and don't bring your seat in etc or you will stuff up the supply for all of us.

    Good luck.

What does it look like? Normal bike-seat faux-leather stuff?

Hmm they packed a little bit of a shit when I called. So I used my dads upholstery business as a reference. So if you have some trouble give me a bulk order and I'll get it.

I have a air compressed staple gun at work, will have to check tomorrow to make sure it still works, abit of a "Relic".
The only thing is that the staples are for wood and arn't that thick, don't no how they will hold up to fabric.
When you get the seat cover "jimmy2006" we can cover the seat and check your valve clearances in the same day. i live by my work in "Morningside"

Ok we have a staple gun at work and I'll try to see if I can get any of my skills dad taught me going (he will be cringing!!!).

I ordered it today, but I'll see if I can add to the order.

so 5m in total? All in Black?
