    Burn me dat steak dammit!

An idea occurs. An impromptu gathering. Who amongst you is in CHCH, and wants to turn up for a BBQ, drinks, bike talking and bike drooling and whatever tonight?

I'm sitting here in the sun outside my place (wigram rd) watching a stunt plane up there in the flawless blue sky, with a cold drink in me hand, music on, and a loverly VFR in the gargre that has just been stropped around the back roads like nobody's business and then washed.

Short notice it is indeed, but of anyone's keen for some Saturday night drinkies and bbq'ing and sitting in the sun, then later around the brazier talking shit, then reply or PM me. We (KB'ers Allun, Bekki, Sleepey) have music, sun, a comfortable place with outdoor bits and indoor bits and inbetween bits, movies and a projector for later, drinks, food (well, to be organised), drinks, bikes (not enough in the driveway currently but YOU can fix that) and lots of couch space indoors and out. Also i might go get some more beers. And will make them cold. Very cold.

Fark it's hard not to just BE HAPPY on a day like this. Somebody come and talk shit with me!

Yep. Great night for bbq and drinks. Ours starts in 70 minutes with some of Mrs Oakie's girlie mates from work coming over for a girls night in. Why am I staying here then? Well you can't leave a girl in charge of a bbq can you? Hmmm. Me surrounded by several alcohol impaired girlies. Could think of worse ways to spend an evening.
Anyway .. .enjoy yours. I'm sure I'll enjoy mine.

'Tis a real problem you have on your hands there....hmmm well I'm sure you'll manage. :-)

Remember, if you let the steak actually come within sight of the BBQ, it's overdone.

Whilst the crowd of 3 (so far) is almost as much as we can handle, I'm sure if anyone else was interested we could squeeze in a few more, there's an abundance of driveway and a lack of motorcyles!

Some of the driveway will shortly be filled by a WRX and we really can't have that can we? Perfectly good motorcycles could be in that space!

Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Well, not pies........more like rump, with scotch fillet for those special people. -I like to show it (the meat, not THE meat.....) the BBQ for a few seconds and then serve with salad, a sauce, and bigarse spud fries.

Bugger me, and at the risk of repeating myself, but it's been a fukking nice day in Canterbury.
