    Aluminium welding.

Is it safe to have the foot brake lever arm welded back together?

Yes... and no. The welding's not a big deal with the right gear but it'll de-temper the alloy, soften it. If you find an alloy welding expert he may well know how to re-temper it though.

Are GB400 brake pedals made from aluminium? I wouldn't have thought so, especially being from that era, but I don't know much.

Shouldn't cost you very much from Econohonda anyway.
