How do i aquire this, new flatmate works for lion nathan brewery.... this means cheap beer. I want to take advantage of this possibly.

I can't stand beer, would be nice to fit in at partys. Mind you i never fit in anywhere, so who am i kidding LOL

    Serious question...
Of course it's normal. Your body knows what's good or bad for it. Listen to it. If beer, or alcohol generally, doesn't work for you, don't drink it. Plenty of other fluids available. Pure cold water's as good as any.

Personally, I reckon if it's not Speight's it's not beer. And normally I'm partial to a drop in moderation. But, a few times a year, my body decides to light a blue light. Just doesn't want alcohol at all. So, I don't drink it. Tomato juice, ginger beer, orange juice, or good cold water. Never had any problem buying them in a pub (we are enlightened nowdays); never had anyone give me grief over it. Two or three weeks of that, suddenly that cold Speights looks very nice.

You don't need to drink to fit in, or to prove anything. It's your body, your life, no one elses business at all.

Warm's a relative term... the beer's only 2 degrees C but warm compared to stepping outside...

The only beer I like is ginger or root beer, any of that alkamahol stuff I just can't stand ... I'll happily guzzle any non alcoholic drink and leave all the other stuff to my mates and brother!

    I understand you.
I never used to like the drink either, then a mortgage, 2 kids etc cut down the piss money and I acquired a taste for beer - fits my budget better as well

I do find I often go off my 'favourite' beer - a change to a light or dark etc easily fixes this.

Try a cider for a change - very refreshing.

I finally walked to the supermarket and got some.

Nice! I wouldn't rave about it too much, but it's very clean, very fresh, with a slight zing from the additions. Lemony something.
There's obviously a bit of wheat in the mash, very good.

I am pleased it's a real beer, not a sweet and spicy and strange one like the Monteith's Summer. Although I do like that one, the monteith's is more of a novelty beer. This Mac's is real beer, but beer for summer.

Now, if only I lived up north, not in Dunedin, I'd have much more opportunity to enjoy it!
