DB is the new Porridge. Cause most of the mods must be sucking his cock ..... Or his giving them some oral help? How else can you explain it?
I tried a few types but ended up with the Metzlers for my TLR,s i got great miles out of them and great handling.
cant believe no one mentioned the pilot roads , there sticky got good feel and ya get good mileage , i've never had a momment on them ever and i am scratchin the feelers all the time , and im a fat bastard to boot.... guess its a matter of personal preferance![]()
I have just put a pair of michelin pilot sports on my R1. Find them great in the wet and hang in there pretty good when am out playing hard, done about 1500km and they look to be wearing well. Got mine for $449 the set.
Hey all thanks for all your advice it was good to get so much input and advice on different tyres i have decided to go for the metzlers which are being fitted on sat and then off to scrub them in will post a thread to let you all know how i rate them hopefully nice and sticky with no tyre spin.
BT002's (street) are sticky but I only get about 3k out of a rear and about 6k out of a front. I am going to try the Attacks next.
The art of being wise is knowing what to overlook.
I love pilot powers. Currently have metzeler m3's but I don't really like them. They stick like shit to a blanket but don't seem very predictable. Came very close to a high speed highside at puke the other week. I also tried going from the 180 rear to a 190 and hated it (big tank slappers cos it raised the rear too much)
Have to say if it were me id be going for the pilot powers, i use power race but both my ma and pa use pilot powers on there sv650 and zx14, i took both bikes for a play around puke and the tyres easily outperformed the standard suspension
Heared great things about the supercorsas. Got dunlops on atm and there shocking in the wet n awsome in the dry. From what i hear the pirelli's are defo worth a try
