I've always liked the GB range and still kick myself for not buying that brand new GB400TT2 back in '87 when for the same money I bought a second-hand CBX400F !!
I found the paperwork on mine the other day, I paid $4200 for it, and they dropped them to $3800 the next month: they were hard to shift.

Irony is, a good one is worth nearly that today.......

Nice looking ride mate, what issues you having with the rearsets? I've spent a few head scratching hours putting some tarrozis on my bike.

    REALLY Nice bike
I wanted one when they were new (reminded me a bit of my Ducati 450 desmo) but kids/mortgage etc. got in the way - I had to settle for a shitter rd400 to get to work (and back mostly ) :-(
They seem really hard to kill - There are plenty in Wellington used as commuters.

Hmm bit of an old thread.

Not a fan of the fairing (on any GB) but I like the rest of it

    just a heads up

The SR400 will snap a conrod when bumped up to 600. ( it was the presidents of Arai helmets, bike ,,, he had a lead wrist ,,)

anyway just double check the conrod part number ( the middle numbers /letters tell you on what bike it was first used XBR???)

anyway always thought they were a nice looking bike , but didn't have that sharp crack of a tuned single ,,,,

    Cheers
