    Cool 79 cx500 (BACKTOIT)

    Wll im new here as of today bought myself a 79 CX500 at christmas to get back to bikes after a layoff of 20years i hope to slowly do it up a bit to get it back to top condition,, where s a good place for a service in wellington/hutt valley

    Had the beast serviced at TSS goes well am about to begin the daily grind of riding to work every morning,, yayy poor old me

    Dont bother to service it , just ride, it will go forever if you leave it alone!!!. I had one in the early eighties for dispatch work in London, it did zillions of miles...and lasted over 200,000 miles working for a living in 3 years.......if it rattles its right.........................

    Weren't they and the GT750 Kwaka de-riguer for courier work in London? Wonder what they're all on now?
