You obviously havent used ebay and are just running off sum 1 elses 1 in 100 problem. And its not savig a few hundred with these fairings, its THOUSANDS, the last set of gsxr fairings i bought i could buy 3 SETS and have $250 cash left over after buying 1 SET from trick fairings. 3 sets $250 > 1 set.

Hey Mr n0o0o0b and know it all, thanks for coming on here and talking shit all over the place and calling me a retard. Whilst I understand the point you're making not everyone is in the same boat as you are. If someone wishes to pay $1000 for something which can be purchased for $250 via eBay than it's THEIR CHOICE. YOU'RE IN NO POSITION TO CALL SOMEONE A RETARD IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR REASONS. IT'S CALLED PERSONAL CHOICE A CONCEPT YOU WILL TAKE TIME TO UNDERSTAND.

Either case if you were smart enough you'd stick to the topic, I didn't open this thread to talk crap about eBay and TradeMe but to get some feedback from people who have dealt with Trick Fairings. And I did not specify weather I am buying thousands of dollars worth of fairings from them or just spending a few hundred dollars but you were quick to jump to that. Re read the initial post.

Thanks for your support of us. We have been on a National tour of New Zealand inclduing Paeroa for Battle of the Streets, so hence the late reply.

You're right, there are a lot of people who don't have a computer or feel comfortable dealing on Ebay, especially if there are problems. And you have piece of mind dealing locally and supporting locally. We plan to be here for the long haul, so we have to price accordingly.

Companies on Ebay, such as Auctmarts in most cases don't make a profit. They work on a numbers basis, selling hundreds of sets a week all over the world. You'll see lots of sets sell for a few cents or dollars. When they do have a fixed price such as $250 they're still not breaking even. Their goal is to start a price war and vet everyone else out of the market. However, Auctmarts supplier is the one losing out, and has decided to start contracting with people in each country in a bid to get rid of Auctmart when their contract is up.

so how is the auctmarts supplier losing out? the supplier`s not going to sell to auctmarts at a loss , they`d sell to everyone at the same price making the same profit, what auctmarts is doing would be helping them as they`re moving a shitload of fairings, i dont see why they`d remove there contract when its only going to hurt the supplier themselves

Your right they are moving a lot of stock, but from my understanding the supplier said it's hurting them because Auctmarts have a monopoly, others have shut up shop and because Auctmarts is the only one left they are pushing the price down with the supplier, because they have no one left to sell their products. It means, they have to cut cut corners and fire expert painters for untrained painters who cost less. In the end the consumer loses with a bad product and bad paint job. But, hey you get what you pay for.

I was quite impressed with the pricing on the carbon fibre bits these guys are offering.

If it came down to needing a full set of fairings i'd probably still buy via ebay as I am comfortable to do so, but if I was in a hurry i'd say that trickfairings would be the best bet.

For what it's worth, I just got a new screen from these folk.

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=189601735

(None of their web sites seem to be working, but this TM seller is from the same town as them, and the screen came with a little draw-string bag/backpack with the trick/fairingsolutions logos on it...)

Not too bad, but the mounting lugs are flush with the screen, so when mounted the screen is not flush with the fairing. Doesn't look too bad, but might be an interesting water trap-and-sprayer... will have to see how it goes in the rain.

    (I don't think it's about using the ZX10R screen on the Z750S...)
